Bombardier CRJ1000 ER NextGen

The Bombardier CRJ1000 ER or Bombardier CRJ1000 ER NextGen is an extended range version of the CRJ1000 regional jet. The only difference between the CRJ1000 ER NextGen and the other CRJ100 jets is the range. The ER version is the longest range version of the regional jet. The additional range seems to accomplished by increase in the maximum ramp and takeoff weights, allowing more fuel to be loaded on-board the aircraft. The maximum zero fuel weight is the same for all CRJ1000s.

Range for the Bombardier CRJ1000 ER NextGen is 1,622 nautical miles. Below is more detailed information on the range. (From Bombardier's CRJ1000 Factsheet March 2013)

  • CRJ1000 ER NextGen Range: 1,622 nautical miles 1,867 statute miles 3,004 kilometers
  • (100 passengers, 31" seat pitch, 225 lb. or 102 kg per passenger., Mach 0.78, IFR reserves.)
