Airbus Wichita To Relocate to WSU Innovation Campus

Airbus has announced that they will be moving their United States based engineering center in Wichita, Kansas to the Wichita State University Innovation Campus. With this move Airbus says that they will be able to access WSU's engineering labs, infrastructure, research facility, educatiuonal opportunites and other items. The company is building a new facility on the campus that is expected to be completed by October 2016. Construction is planned to begin this year. Airbus plans to move in to the new building, called Partnership I, in January 2017. Airbus also plans to partner with Wichita State University (WSU) to use the university's "applied learning model".

Airbus Wichita was launched by the company in 2002 as a design an engineering center. The company is currently located in downtown Wichita.
