RwandAir has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Airbus for two A330 jets. The MoU is a preliminary order, which is not a firm order. Airbus is planning to deliver the two A330 jets to RwandAir in the second half of 2016. The Airbus A330 jets will be equipped with Trent 772B engines from Rolls-Royce. The airline is planning on using the aircraft to expand its network into Europe and Asia and other markets.
