Arik Air, a Lagos, Nigeria based airline, has begun operating a Bombardier CRJ1000 NextGen jet with business class seating. This is the first CRJ1000 NextGen equipped with business class seating and economy seating. The jet has 10 business class seats and 81 economy class seats, a total of 91 seats. The business class / first class seats are arranged in the standard CRJ business seats layout, with 3 seats in a row. Most first class / business class seats in the CRJ aircraft have a seat pitch of 35 inches to 37 inches. The airline is using the aircraft on their business traffic routes that include Lagos to Accra flights.
