Airbus Delivers to Aerolineas Argentinas its First New A330-200

Aerolineas Argentinas, Argentina's airline, has received their first new, directly purchased Airbus A330-200 jet. The jet was delivered to to the company on March 2nd, 2015. Aerolineas Argentinas has a total of 4 A330-200 jets on order with Airbus. The order was originally placed in February 2013.This delivery now leaves 3 orders on backlog for the company. The airline is planning to use the new A330 jets on long range routes from their hub in Buenos Aires (ICAO: SABE / IATA: AEP. Some of the planned destination cites include New York, Madrid and Miami. As a sidenote, Aerolineas Argentinas has been operating Airbus aircraft since 1994.
